SONET HEIGHTS

Site is situated in dry and arid region of Ahmedabad, adjacent to the highway & open farms, accommodating a 24 hours running clothing factory, employing 300 people from the neighborhood. The landscape takes clues from the mundane factory routine and tries to break through creating respite between large active masses by introducing relaxing pockets for groups and congregational spaces for the festivities. Design elements such as mounds, and layered plantations act as a windbreaker whereas seatings and meandering pathways are repeated uniformly to create shaded, serene pockets and provide language.
